Description
The 11×14″ Mark 3 film holder was created to solve a simple problem:
ultra large format is already complicated enough on its own – you shouldn’t also have to chase rare, expensive or worn-out film holders just to load a single sheet of film.
This Mark 3 is assembled entirely in the Stenopeika workshop, using materials chosen to work in real life, not just to look good in photos.

Printed and assembled in my workshop, with tolerances designed specifically for large and ultra large format. Rigid, consistent, and made to sit correctly on the camera back. -
0.8 mm powder-coated aluminum darkslide
Yes, aluminum is a bit heavier than plastic – that’s intentional. In return you get solidity, stability, and that reassuring feel every time you pull and reinsert the darkslide. -
Independent Stenopeika production
No “lucky finds” from who-knows-where: the Mark 3 is designed to be produced, refined and supported over time.
11×14″ in my ULF lineup
In the Stenopeika world, ULF (Ultra Large Format) starts from 11×14″ upwards.
This film holder is the smallest format in my ULF lineup – the entry point if you want to go beyond 8×10″ without jumping straight into the truly extreme sizes.
If you’ve seen the “budget” 12×20″ film holder, this 11×14″ Mark 3 sits just below it: still serious, still big, but a bit more manageable in terms of camera size, bellows, lenses and darkroom space.

Il portapellicola Mark 3 11×14″ nasce per risolvere un problema semplice:
l’ultra grande formato è già abbastanza complicato di suo, non dovresti anche dover inseguire portapellicola rari, costosi o messi male solo per poter caricare un foglio di pellicola.
Questo Mark 3 è assemblato interamente nel laboratorio Stenopeika, con materiali scelti per lavorare davvero, non solo per fare bella figura in foto.

Stampato e assemblato nel mio laboratorio, con tolleranze pensate specificamente per il grande e ultra grande formato. Rigido, costante e progettato per accoppiarsi in modo corretto al dorso della fotocamera. -
Volet in alluminio da 0,8 mm verniciato a polvere
Sì, l’alluminio pesa un po’ più della plastica – ed è voluto. In cambio hai solidità, stabilità e quella sensazione di affidabilità ogni volta che estrai e reinserisci il volet. -
Produzione indipendente Stenopeika
Niente “pezzi fortunati” trovati in giro: il Mark 3 è progettato per poter essere prodotto, migliorato e supportato nel tempo.
11×14″ nella mia linea ULF
Nel mondo Stenopeika, l’ULF (Ultra Large Format) comincia dall’11×14″ in su.
Questo portapellicola è il formato più piccolo della mia linea ULF: il punto d’ingresso se vuoi andare oltre l’8×10″ senza buttarti subito nei formati davvero estremi.
Se hai visto il portapellicola “economico” 12×20″, questo 11×14″ Mark 3 si posiziona appena sotto: sempre serio, sempre grande, ma un po’ più gestibile in termini di fotocamera, soffietto, ottiche e spazio in camera oscura.
