Today is the day to present an evergreen of stenopeiKa’s catalog: the wetplate holder, in this case 8×10″ but what you will see in the video also applies to the formats 5×7″ and 4×5″, and also ULF.
The features:
- the external dimensions are those of the film holder fidelity, so you can use them on all the cameras on the market
- the materials (pvc and aluminum) are chosen to be resistant to the chemicals used during the collodion photography process, also based on my personal experience in this type of photography
- easily washable materials
